About this project

Engineering Expo 2022

A wide range of engineering, including physics, mathematics, and information, is on display, including exhibits that utilize physical phenomena such as superconductivity and exhibits that attempt to synthesize the human voice. In today's society, where having devices using cutting-edge technology has become the norm, their sophistication and complexity are often overlooked. Why don't you take this opportunity to discover the "Applied Physics" hidden in the world around you?

Lectures by Professors of Applied Physics

Lectures will be given by professors who usually teach in the Departments of Physical Engineering and Mathematical Engineering. We hope you will enjoy these valuable talks by people who are exploring the cutting edge of science in the world!

You can also view online exhibits of some of our projects at this URL, so come on over!

About this organization

The University of Tokyo Department of Mathematical Engineering and Information Physics, Faculty of Engineering Department of Applied Physics

The Department of Applied Physics in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Tokyo is composed of students from the Department of Physical Engineering and the Department of Mathematical Engineering. The Department of Physical Engineering studies technologies to apply the laws of physics in society. On the other hand, the Department of Mathematical Engineering is divided into two courses: the Mathematical Information Engineering course, which aims to solve social problems using mathematics, and the Systems Information Engineering course, which studies mechanisms related to cognition and behavior and how to solve problems by applying them.
