About this project
This aikido demonstration at May Festival is one of the Kirenkai’s biggest events. You can see how we practice aikido by freshmen’s demonstration, sophisticated aikido demonstration by sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduates, and even demonstration by some aikido clubs at other universities that have connection with Tada sensei. Also, Yasutaka Saiga, Kirenkai’s first captain are going to perform. If you are interested in aikido, or have practiced aikido before, please come to Shichitoku-do to see our demonstration!

The University of Tokyo Aikido Kirenkai
It has been 31 years since our club, The University of Tokyo Aikido Kirenkai was created. We practice aikido earnestly under Saiga sensei. You can join us at any time in the year, so feel free to visit and experience our practice. If you want to know more, please let us know. You can see practice schedule at our website.

Those who wish to participate in the 96th May Festival need to attend one of the sessions.
The Information Session will be held in both Japanese and English.
