Welcome Decoration
The gradation created by monocolor boxes express the ripples and this year’s festival theme, "Droplets Meet to Form the Ripple". It will be set in front of the Main Gate, dragging all visitors into the world of May Festival.
Main Gate Mural
As the name suggests, Main Gate Mural welcomes visitors in front of Main Gate. Two overlapping water patterns that droplets create express new encounters and creation at the May Festival.
Play with Water Balloons
This decoration allows visitors to freely touch and move the water balloons. Please try to move the balloons as you like and take a photo inside.
Faculty of Engineering Plaza Stage Backboard
In reference to the theme of the festival, we have used several types of circles and rings to depict the spreading of water drops. Please enjoy the spreading ripples which stand out on the dark background.
Water Pattern
This decoration takes the shape of a water pattern, with blue and green shadows appearing on the surface. The overlapping water patterns show mixed shadows, expressing a fused water pattern.
Library Plaza Stage Backboard
The blue and green droplet pattern represents the encounters among people and their chain to express the theme of the May Festival. Please come and see it at the Library Plaza.
Floating
Pale colors were used to create the softness of being in water, and different sizes of circles were hung to express the spread of ripples. Please take a picture as a memory of your visit to the May Festival!
