Q
Where can I get an Official Brochure?
A
Official Brochures are available at Information Centers. Please note that distribution may suddenly end due to the limited number of brochures. English Leaflets are also available. The Official Brochure is also available on this website. Please see here.

Are there any merch?
A
Merch will be sold during the May Festival. In addition to in-person sales at the Merchandise Store near the General Library, we also offer online sales. For more information, see Official Merchandise. Why don’t you get them as a souvenir of your visit to the festival? Please note that sales may end without notice due to limited stocks.

I have lost something. What should I do?
A
If you noticed that you have lost something during the May Festival, please come to the nearest Information Center. We will check to see if it has been delivered to the Committee. If it has yet to arrive, the Committee (03-5684-4594) will call you as soon as it is found. If you found out that you have lost something after you are back home, please answer this Google Forms.

Are there places on campus where I can take a break?
A
There are rest areas available where you can eat and drink. (Some of the rest areas prohibit eating and drinking.)

Are there any assistance for people with disabilities?
A
Yes, there are. Please see Accessibility Services for details. If you have any questions or concerns about your visit, or if you need assistance from the Committee, please feel free to reach us through the contact at the bottom of this page.
About Projects
Q
When and where will the projects be open?
A
The projects will be open at the University of Tokyo Hongo / Yayoi Campuses on May 18th (Sat.), May 19th (Sun.) from 9 AM - 6 PM. Some of the projects will also be available on the official website (this site) at the same time.

Do you have any recommendations for projects?
A
We introduce recommended projects in our Official Brochure and on this website, so please look them up on the Search Projects. If you are not sure where a project you would like to visit is held, please feel free to ask a Committee member wearing a blue jacket. Campus Map on this website is also useful.

Can I use electronic payment?
A
Yes, you can use your IC card at the Merchandise Store. Some booths also accept them, but we recommend that you bring cash since some of them do not.

Are there any projects in which I can see “Little May”, the official mascot of the May Festival?
A
Yes, there are. Please refer to Little May (Official Mascot) for more information.
Q
What is the “May Fes. Awards”?
A
We will decide the most popular project of the May Festival based on the evaluations of the visitors. You can rate the projects you have visited on a scale of 1 to 5, and make a vote on campus at Voting Stations near the Main Gate and Faculty of Medicine Plaza, or online at the project detail page of each project. For details, please refer to May Fes. Awards.
Q
What is the procedure to enjoy alcoholic beverages?
A
An Alcohol Pass is required to purchase or possess any alcohol on campus. Alcohol Pass will be provided at all Information Centers. When provided, please present a photo ID that verifies your age.
Alcohol may not be brought from outside the campus.

What happens if it rains?
A
The event will still be held, but in case of severe weather, some stage performances and outdoor projects may be canceled.
Q
Please tell me about the Campus Tour.
A
We have a variety of Campus Tours as the official project. Each tour has a different theme related to the University of Tokyo, such as campus history, student life, and the May Festival. Reservations are required to participate. Please see pp. 24-25 on the Official Brochure for details. There are also online tour videos available, so feel free to check them out from the Online Campus Tour. Please note that the Campus Tour requires a reservation to participate, and it will be held in Japanese.
