The 95th May Festival
Research Presentation by the Department of Chemistry
The University of Tokyo Department of Chemistry, School of Science

About this project

Let’s come in touch with state-of-the-art chemistry!

We, students of the Department of Chemistry, present the results of experiments supported by the laboratories of the University of Tokyo. The themes of the presentation are as follows:

  • Controlling selectivity of aromatic macrocycles, Cyclo-mata-phenylene, via design-of-experiments supplemented by machine learning
*Supermolecular Mol-based Thermocell and Electric Chemical Luminescence of Ru complex
  • Synthesis and structure evaluation of gold clusters by photoelectron spectroscopy

About this organization

The University of Tokyo Department of Chemistry, School of Science

We are juniors in the Department of Chemistry, School of Science. Chemistry is a discipline to understand natural phenomena based on the concept of molecules. The members of the Department of Chemistry conduct state-of-the-art chemistry research across a wide range of fields such as physical chemistry, organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, and analytical chemistry. Recently, face-to-face classes have started, and we are enjoying lectures and experiments in chemistry!
