Cautions

Before Visiting Us

  • Please see Location for access to Hongo / Yayoi Campuses.
  • Please refrain from visiting us by car, motorcycle, bicycle, kickboard, or other vehicles, and use public transportation or walk. Passing through by bicycle or kickboard is prohibited as well.
  • Please refrain from bringing pets indoors (except for assistance dogs).
  • Please check out Accessibility Services to see what accessibility services we have available.

Notes on Campus

  • Smoking is prohibited during May Festival anywhere on campus including smoking areas.
  • Please take your garbage to outdoor Garbage Stations. Indoor garbage cans are not available during May Festival. Please see Environmental Measures for more information about sorting garbage and environmental measures.
  • It is expected to be hot on the day of the festival. Please be sure to take breaks frequently and keep yourself hydrated.
  • To purchase or possess alcoholic beverages on campus, you must wear an Alcohol Pass (a wristband) that is issued at Information Centers. For more information, please see Notes on Alcohol.

If You Need Help

  • Information Centers are available to assist you when looking for certain facilities or projects, and can help with lost/found items and missing children. For details on the services provided at Information Centers, please see Information Centers (for lost and found, missing children, etc.).
  • FAQs are listed on FAQs.
  • If you feel ill on campus, please let your nearest Committee member in a blue jacket know.
