Accessibility
At May Festival, various accessibility services are offered at the Information Centers listed in the Campus Map below.
Please note that some services require advance reservations. In addition, services for visitors with infants and toddlers are listed in Information Center, Lost and Found, Missing Children. If you are unable to visit the festival by public transportation, please send an email to contact[at]gogatsusai.jp (please replace [at] with @).
Services Available at Information Centers
When using the following services, feel free to ask a Committee member wearing a blue jacket at Information Centers.
Rental of Wheelchairs (pre-reservations required)
In principle, wheelchairs are available for rent with pre-reservations. If you wish to borrow a wheelchair, please refer to the following and make a reservation (wheelchairs may be borrowed without a reservation only if they are available on the day of the rental).
Notes and Requests
- The number of wheelchairs are limited. Please understand that we may not be able to meet your request depending on availability.
- You may bring your own wheelchair on campuses.
- Some classrooms and aisles are not accessible or passable by wheelchairs. For more detailed information, please refer to the "Accessibility Campus Map" below.
How to Make a Reservation
Please send an email to contact[at]gogatsusai.jp (please replace [at] with @) with your name, date of visit, name of the Information Center you plan to use, start time of use, estimated time to return the wheelchair, number of wheelchairs you use, and a phone number that we can reach you on the day of use, with the subject line [Reservation of wheelchairs].
Lending of Braille Pamphlets and Touch-Readable Maps
Braille pamphlets are available at the Itomon Gate Information Center, Main Gate Information Center, and Faculty of Agriculture Information Center. Touch-readable outdoor maps are available at the Main Gate Information Center. If you would like to borrow one, feel free to ask a Committee member wearing a blue jacket in the Information Center.
Written Guidance
Written guidance is available at each Information Center using a writing board.

Priority Seats
Priority Seats are available at all stages and Rest Areas. If you wish to use a priority seat when watching a stage performance, please ask a Committee member wearing a blue jacket around the stage.
Accessible Bathrooms
Accessible bathrooms are available on both campuses. Please see the Campus Map at the top of this page for locations. You can also use the diaper changing table when changing your babies’ diapers.
