About May Festival
It is held in the University of Tokyo Hongo / Yayoi Campuses on May 24th (Sat.), 25th (Sun.), from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Nothing in particular. Admission is free as well.
Trains and buses are available. Please refrain from coming by any private vehicles including car, motorcycle, bicycle, and scooter. For detailed information on access such as the nearest stations, please refer to Access and Campus Map.
Except for assistance dogs, please refrain from walking with pets in the campuses, both indoors and outdoors.
Yes, but stage performances and some outdoor projects may be canceled in case of severe weather.
You cannot bring alcohol to the campuses, but it is possible to buy them at projects or stores that sell alcohol. If you buy alcohol on the campuses, please put on the “Alcohol Pass” which is a kind of a wristband. Alcohol Pass is issued at every Information Center. For details, please refer to Drinking Alcohol.
Facilities and Services
Official brochures are given out at every Information Center for one copy per group. Please understand that there will be no distribution in advance and distribution may end when all copies are given out.

The Committee will sell merchandise at the Merchandise Store around Engineering Bldg. 6 on the days of May Festival. The Committee does not sell them online. For details, please refer to Official Merchandise. We recommend you to purchase one as a souvenir of the May Festival. Please note that sales might end without prior notice due to limited stocks.
If you realize that you have lost something during the May Festival, please stop by the nearest Information Center. The Committee will check whether we have your lost item. In case the Committee has not received it yet, the Committee (03-5684-4594) will call you as soon as it is found. If you realize you have lost something after you get back home, please submit Lost Item Form. For details, please refer to Information Center, Lost and Found, Missing Children.
If you and your child got separated on the days of May Festival, please stop by the nearest Information Center. The Committee will check whether we are taking care of your missing child. In case we are not taking care of them, we will also do our best to find them. As soon as your child is found, the Committee (03-5684-4594) will give you a call.
Please use Rest Areas where you can eat and drink. Please note that eating or drinking is prohibited in some indoor Rest Areas.

You can borrow one at Information Centers principally when you have reserved it in advance. If you would like to borrow a wheelchair, please refer to Rental of Wheelchairs. If you prefer to borrow a stroller, please refer to Rental of Strollers. You may also bring your own wheelchair or stroller.
In some accessible bathrooms, a diaper changing table is available. For information on the location of the accessible bathrooms, please refer to Accessibility. Also, there are some Rest Areas where you can breastfeed or change a diaper for your baby. For detailed information, please ask a Committee member wearing a blue jacket at Information Centers.
Projects
Please use Search for Projects. You can use the index of the official brochure. Also, we will search for projects for you at the Information Center, so please feel free to stop by.
Some are on the official brochure and on this website (Recommended Projects).
You can use your credit card, your IC card, Quickpay and iD at the Merchandise Store. Also you can pay by them in some projects, but we recommend you to bring cash.
Yes, some projects require them. Information on whether the project requires them is on the Project Detail Page. You can access the page through Search for Projects.
